Congresswoman Defends Shaq Trade; Kerr Convinced

Following Roger Clemens' Congressional testimony, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) held a news conference to discuss the recent trade of Shaquille O'Neal to the Phoenix Suns.  The following is a transcript of her remarks:

Rep. Foxx : "I have four photographs here I'd like to you look at. We don't have the exact dates on them. But this photo was taken somewhere around '95-'96...

"Mr. Shaquille, you know, I am not an expert in any of these issues, but you appear to me to be about the same size in all of those photos...Perhaps you'd like to talk a little bit about your regime of conditioning that you go through. I know that you take it very seriously. And maybe you'd like to say something about how hard you work at keeping yourself in [such luscious] shape and how that would result in the stamina and body build that you have."

A most brilliant illustration of the kind of leadership that Foxx offers both her home district, NC-05, and the country. Really why should she be concerned with the example being set for millions of young athletes? She certainly voted against those kids being insured. This is another example of why I am supporting Coach Roy Carter for Congress. Carter reminds us of the need to put people above politics, something that Foxx has obviously chosen not to do.

the last pic a little closer to corliss williamson?
